After 15 years of living with him, I think that I have seen every “I Love Lucy” show at least 5 to 6 times, and I don’t try to watch them. We own all six seasons, and he is now collecting the “Lucy Show” and “Here’s Lucy.” At first I thought it was only Lucy, but it has extended beyond. He is now “Tivoing” the Brady Bunch, which takes up all of the space on BOTH systems. We even spent a Saturday afternoon driving around to all of the local Target stores and picking up the entire (seven) seasons of the Golden Girls. He even owns all of the seasons to Hazel.
At times, I think he lives in another time, as he doesn’t seem to watch any of the newer series on TV.
So, how is it that him and I (a SciFi / Reality / Comic / Cartoon geek) share the television? Or Tivo? Don’t ask. Just think double of everything – so that he can watch his show, and I can watch mine.
