Growing up, we all had our favorite Christmas specials, but my gay geek gene brought out a side of me that I was totally unaware of until recent years.
I was never a Broadway fan, and I missed the entire ‘Disco’ era. In fact, I still don’t get Xandadu, but when it came to certain Christmas specials, I knew some songs the very first time that I heard them. I don’t remember singing along with them when I was a kid, but you know what, I probably did.
So here is one of my favorites. Growing up in the South, I could relate to Mister Heat Miser.
