K all you loyal, geeky followers! in just two days the new True Blood season starts. I’m so excited

I hope you are all setting your DVR’s, your TiVo’s and what ever else you got to record this most epic occurrence that only happens once a year.

Rumor has it that this season two of the lead characters are going to have a gay romance.  I have a feeling its going to involve Eric played by Alex Skarsgard. The tall blonde bomb shell with the cherry bomb ass!

Oh my God GayandGeeky fans!   Im so excited.  Why, you ask.  Well, let me enlighten you!   I was sitting down this morning to write a post about my Hanna Barbera Bobbleheads, Wacky Race’s Dick Dastardly and Muttley, when I decided to do some quick research on other Hanna Barbera Boobleheads available for sale on Amazon.

To my complete surprise & utter delight, I happen to glance down at the “customers who bought this item also bought” section or as I like to refer to it “customers who spent money also wasted more on the following“, when what should appear…you guessed it, H.R. Pufnstuf and Witchie Poo Wacky Wobbler 2 piece set!   Can you believe it?  Do you really care?  LOL

FYI:  For all of you new gaygeeks who just started following my witty, informative scribes, I would be remiss if I didn’t remind you it was only last month that I almost had an orgasm upon finding the just released H.R. Pufnstuf dvd (boy, I really do need to see my therapist).

Warning:  You may need to drop a hit of acid to truly appreciate this 1970′s extravaganza!  hehehe

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR

So the movie is based in the late 70’s, about a group of kids trying to film a horror movie, and end up filming a huge train crash, the derailment unleashes some horror into the town. The kids spend the rest of the movie trying to figure out what was unleashed when the train crashed…

After the town’s folk and their canine companions start disappearing, the curious pre-pubescent kids that they are run around town uncovering the truth…  It honestly makes one wonder; did children not have a curfew back in the day?

“Timmy, its past seven you can chase space aliens in the morning. Now turn out your lights and go to bed!”

The acting ability and chemistry between the kids is really where the movie shines. I was so impressed with Joel Courtney and Elle Fanning’s characters… those kids are naturals. Especially Elle, move over Dakota! Your little sister is moving in.

I highly recommend you go see this movie, if you are younger you can appreciate the witty banter between the kids and the cheap scares the alien gives every couple of scenes. For you older gays you can look forward to being transported back to the 1970’s, from the cars, to the music, and you guys horrible fashion statements (bellbottom what???)

So i know i wasn’t really born in the 80′s but i can still appreciate the awesome NES games that came out.

This morning i was actually watching the new GAGA video for Edge of Glory, and for some reason after the video it brought up The Legend Of Zelda trailer from the 80′s. Gosh i still remember trying to play that game. Was so hard i went crazy and threw countless controllers at my brothers

I try to never judge the characters in a movie, but this class was just to fricken hot to ignore. From Magneton to Banshee, they were all worth a double take. I’m not exactly sure which one you will like, but there is one for everyone.

And dare I say it, even Kevin Bacon looked good. What a great villain.

Oh, the review.

Best X-Men movie to date. Hands down. Great story. Great characters. Just don’t expect much to match up to the comic books. I was able to let that go and climb into the story. A suspenseful James Bond thriller. I hope the next one can hold the intrigue, and yes, there will be another one.

Isn’t it time for a tv series or something.

Howdy fellow GayandGeeky readers! Today I’m in a really gay mood, the witty kind, so I thought what better to blog about then one of my all-time favorite gay cartoons- Queer Duck.

Actually, I hadn’t thought about Queer Duck in awhile until I started joking around with a closeted-friend about a certain “queer” starfish and his pourous “best-friend”. I therefore took it upon myself to open his door a little further by turning him onto Queer Duck. As you can tell, subtlety is my strongest suit! Wink. Wink.

I wish I could see his face in person as the opening credits begin and he is introduced to Queer Duck and his friends (Oscar Wildcat, Openly Gator & Bi-Polar Bear)….

He’s homosexual!”   Isn’t that an infectious little diddy?   So, for all you newbies,  how was your first Queer Duck experience?  And for all of you experienced jaded queens, didn’t it feel like the first-time again?  hehehe   If you still have a taste for more Queer Duck, I recommend you check out Showtime and watch all 20 episodes.

FYI:  Be sure to buy the 2006 dvd,  Queer Duck- The Movie, to catch up on our favorite gay cartoon characters!  There are some surprises!   hehehehe

After watching the Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures for over a year, I have a suggestion for one of their next adventures-their own closets! Although I could write a post just about the clothes that Aaron, Nick and Zak wear during their “boys night out” adventures (Zak’s choice of jeans is hideous), but instead I will focus on the bromance going on between the three pals (or should I say bros).

Just recently on one of their “best of” shows, Zak, Nick, and Aaron sat down and showed us several of their most frightening experiences. As I sat there watching the show with my friend Justin, I finally blurted out “these guys are so gay!”.

I say this because every scratch they receive from a ghost, most of the time it’s Zak, up goes his shirt and the other two begin to feel or rub his stinging new scratches. Or it could be one of those times when Zak decides he needs to provoke the ghost shirtless with his body tatoos as Nick and Aaron film while focusing on his bulging biceps, hulking smooth chest, or slim waist. Notice I mentioned nothing about Aaron & Nick focusing on his ass or crotch, that is because you can’t see either one due to those awful baggy, carpenter jeans! Lol.

Anyway, the next time you watch the show, let me know if you see any homoerotic behavior between our favorite Ghost Adventurers! I have a feeling they won’t disappoint. Hehehe

With all of my traveling, I try to be rather selective about the shows that I really get hooked on, as some of the hotels may not carry the channels that I want to watch; however, the ‘Game of Thrones’ has kept me coming back time and time again.   Is it because it takes place in a rather interesting fantasy world?  Sort-of.   Is it the scary ‘evil’ about to swoop over this world and devour it?  Not at all.   Is it the plot?  Yes!  Is it the characters?  Yes.  Is it the actors and how frackin incredible they are?  YES!

This show doesn’t rely on special effects – though the scenery is beyond description.  This show relies upon the actual “Game of Thrones.”  The politics around such a world and the people involved.   Points to HBO for such incredible directing, casting, and scenery.  This book takes the cake in all of those areas.

I haven’t read an incredible fantasy series lately, and I seem to have missed this one.   I could easily pick up the series and devour them in a week, but for the first time, since I can remember, I am waiting for HBO to deliver it to me.

Yes, there is one gay couple, but they didn’t intrigue me; however, there are a HOST of characters that Justin would be drooling over …..if he just watched the show.
